Hey I have a question...I am a 5”8 femme, I have never dated a woman but would love to when I feel more comfortable and confident. But it has recently occurred to me that the majority of women I see tend to be shorter than me. Has anyone here found height to be a problem? How do people here feel about dating someone taller than them? Please be honest - I’ve accepted my height so won’t be offended (I’m destined to reach high shelves for people for eternity!) I know I cannot change how tall I am I was just wondering how other people felt about it?
I never though 5'8" was very tall... height is one of those weird things some people do get hung up on. Though I think it tends to be more men that dislike dating women taller than them. I can't recall hearing any women complain about a partner's height. If someone is overly picky about something as silly as height, you can do better anyways.
I actually find taller women very attractive. I also had a friend who told me that one of the reasons that she was not really attracted to me was that I was shorter than her and she prefers taller women. (I am 162cm, 5' 3/4")
I actually think that is where my potential insecurity/concern has come from, every guy I have dated has made it a problem. One guy was a bit shorter than me and I think looking back he was actually really insecure and unfortunately took it out on me - I wasn’t allowed to wear heels/thick soled shoes (even converse) because apparently he felt uncomfortable about it :/ I personally don’t care about height but I think my past experiences have made me wonder if others would.
O Oh wow...well that gives me hope! I’ve never considered height as a thing for dating before. My friend asked me if I would date girls shorter than me - and she seemed surprised when I said I would. I did joke and say I think it would massively limit my options if I didn’t, but in all honesty it doesn’t phase me

Height has never seemed to be a problem tbh... I guess everyone has their preferences but personally, short/tall/height equivalent... none of that matters to me.
I am slightly taller than you and it’s never been a problem for me or for the girls I have dated. I have also been with girls taller than me and I get intimidated for a second because I am so used to being the tall one lol but it has never put me off. I really don’t notice my height anymore unless I am wearing heels!
5’8 is not too tall , I consider it ideal height off course from man perspective... I’ve dated a lot of 6 footers , so tall women are out there !
Everyone is taller than me! To add insult to injury I have shrunk even more over the years . Women are fine with taller women! As you say, you can reach the things off shelves that the shorter ones can’t teach I’d love to be as tall as you It’s a perfect height to be
