Is it possible if somehow members could put a warning up if some content of their thread/post is explicit as we have some young members on here please.
I’ve seen a few threads that are highly uncomfortable to read with explicit details of porn, masturbation etc.

Not just due to young people being on the forum, I am very far from young but would still appreciate content notices. I would also like to add that "editing" by replacing a letter or two with a * is NOT helpful. If the word can still be understood it is still as offensive and more difficult to skip if one wishes and if so many * are added that the word is not comprehensible then why have the word there in the first place?

I suggest reading this thread posted six years ago when others brought up this same issue.

That thread is basically about people discussing reporting/banning explicit discussions. Asking for content notice is 1000% different from that. Not one of us in this thread has even hinted at censorship.

No disrespect intended to my fellow members above, however I sure knew I was different as early as 13/14 years old. I sure knew about masturbation, and enough about my feelings to be ashamed of how I felt. Would it not defeat the purpose of this forum to start putting warnings up because some are uncomfortable with others questions or feelings? Would it not deter a young person from posting because they might have to put warning on their own post? Would they feel inclusive? There have been many over the last years that have talked about no longer wanting to be alive. Those posts need a warning also?

Worth saying that the staff team read and review threads regularly throughout the day and will take action where we believe a line is crossed. In the overwhelming majority of cases no action is necessary. If you have specific concerns please create a report and the staff team will look into it and make a decision.
