    Hi

Would you ever consider permanently leaving your country?

Just the thought of it would give me anxiety lol. So no unless if I really have to.

I'm right with you! I honestly don't think I'd ever leave my province. I don't think I'd even leave my hometown unless an amazing opportunity presented itself.

I have moved to a different nation and it is my intention to stay here permanently, though whether I do is up to the government here. It was something that I have wanted to do nearly my entire adult life. I was far too afraid of new experiences though for decades (fear of change is really common for ASD people). After being the victim of a number of hate crimes (one severely violent) my fear of being where I was became greater than the fear of change and I moved, I never want to be in the USA again.

I wouldn't leave my country permanently, but it could be interesting to live abroad for some time. I'd like to know other cultures and languages in depth and I think that the best way to do so is to live in a different country.

I would leave my country and I plan to. I don’t feel at home here and want to find my place. I have some family here but very few friends I would miss.

I actually researched moving to another country on another continent. But once I found out all the rules to it decided even with a large savings it wouldn’t be doable plus where I wanted to go required having a job already lined up making a very large salary. I didn’t think I could pull it off so. I’ll stay put.

My country is safe enough but I live in the countryside and it could be different in a city. Ireland is beautiful, we only have one species of spiders that bite, we dont have bears or wolves or any dangerous animals. Unless you count deer. The climate leaves a lot to be desired. It rarely gets hot enough in the summer and it’s not cold enough for snow in the winter. We get a lot of rain. I wouldn’t want to leave.

Here mullahs have destroyed the country and imprisoned us. And while they shout death to the west everyday, they've sent all of their children and grandchildren to live in the US, the UK, etc. And the officials shop from Amazon and use apple products. Even the senior officials would flee from this country that they've destroyed themselves.

Yes, I would love to at some point but that is not an option any more.

Why? Brexit, of course. The xenophobic bigots that run the UK have ended free movement. I think it's unlikely that the UK (or rather a rump English state as it soon will be) will re-enter the EU in my lifetime.

Not at all I’m a veteran and I love this country. We have some serious issues right now but I still believe in this country and I still believe people have a warm heart

YES! It's a shit show here, right now! I always feel like I don't belong here. I'd like to be in a country where I can feel safe inside my own place.

As much as the US sucks at the moment, I would not leave. I have a nice life built here. I would not want to start all over again. I have moved around so much that I do not want to move for a while again.

If I could, I would leave tomorrow. Over the last five years the UK has gone backwards and I no longer see it as an attractive or welcoming place to live or work. The decision to leave the European Union was a real low point, but then we elected a horrible nationalistic, right wing government led by Boris Johnson, which only made matters worse. There is a constant air of negativity and nastiness now and it's just not a nice place to be.

Thanks for your response. I’m from the US and we both have bad leadership. Have a great day
