Life has no inherent purpose. But this doesn't bother me, it does quite the opposite. For I am not a slave to some purpose, goal, or creed I did not choose. But one handcrafted by me and for me.
Such a great question! Seriously. It doesn't have a purpose and it never came with a plan. Some feel we are predestined. Some don't. I don't think we are seeing how things can turn on a dime. I think the formative years, genetics, and personal circumstances, such as where you are born and live, are the most telling as to how much purpose and fulfillment a person's life will have. So, it makes me sad when someone's life had a chance for greater potential but it was marred by others, almost as if a sport. It's an uphill battle for many. They are not alone. There's too much emphasis on a life well lived, even though people who have done extraordinary things should be honored and recognized. I just hate it when people tell others to get a MORE significant purpose in their lives or to accomplish more. There's nothing wrong at all with just living a quiet life and being the best person one can be.
