What body type are you attracted to?

I have two versions. The instant looks, and the one I come to learn to enjoy.

For an instant look, if I'm being completely honest, I do prefer women that are thinner. Not too thin that they're like a stick. I do think women with a bit extra is nice, but not too much, but not too little.

In terms of what I'd come to learn to enjoy, this is the kind of thing where, if I've met a person and they've got an absolutely golden personality, I don't care what body shape they are. To me, they're wonderful no matter what.

 

I have two types.

- Tall, reasonably muscular, strong, "protector" type.

- Average, works out but not super muscular, Twunky type.

 

Physically (in my fantasy world), I'm attracted to sort of athletic and perky. For real, for real...we'll see. I'm still learning.

 

I like a wide range and for me I can be attracted to women right off but for men I have to be emotionally close to them first. With women I like either Rubenesque feminine types or Butch women. For men, I have to feel safe around them first so a friendship has to develop and as I get closer to them then I develop attraction and their looks matter a lot less. (I am still trying to work out a label)

 

Not too muscular, not too slim, just right.

Honestly, I care more about him being smart, responsible, and having other positive, non-toxic traits. Thankfully, my current boyfriend is attractive both physically, and most importantly, personality-wise.

Smart, funny, quirky and doers of things.

Physically I tend to prefer more curvy women with darker features and taller women and more femme women but these things aren't set in stone for me. I also tend to be more attracted to women a little older than myself. The woman I have a major crush on at the moment is actually quite short so yeah I don't have any hard and fast rules apart from the top 4.

 

A big hairy "dadbod" is perfect, but I don't require perfection.

 

I like girls around my height or maybe slightly taller. Thin, slightly muscular build. I'm not really into butches, but I'm also not really into super femme females either. I prefer girls who are more androgynous or Chapstick. That's just what I like based off first looks alone.

Despite what I prefer physically personality and compatibility rules overall.

 

In real relations person matters first. In #### jock, otter, twink go well but no hunk.

 

People that I was attracted to don't have much in common in terms of appearance. While appearance isn't the highest priority they'll have my attention if they look something like this:
Girls--have just enough curves on them.
Guys--never paid much attention to male's body types, but muscular types look interesting.
Both--Extra points if they wear glasses. I'm not so much into people who are much shorter than me, like 10cm shorter.

 

I like all types. I don't care TBH as long as they are not major obese.

 

I like all types of guys but my favourite type is tall and slightly chubby.

 

Right now I have no body type preference of any gender. I am attracted to nobody and I wouldn't know what to do if I was.

 

This isn't easy to establish for me, because something that works for me on one person doesn't always catch my eye on another--and I don't mean in terms of opposite sex so much as same. Like two guys can have a lot of the same features--for example, leanly built, stubble, short dark hair--but I might only be attracted to one of them. Maybe it's a difference in the jawline or the eyes, maybe it's the nose; whatever it is, one of them has something I like, the other doesn't. And my attraction to guys isn't limited to those parameters by any means: My husband is thick around the middle, fair-haired (though it's darkened with age), ginger-bearded, freckled... You get the idea. But something about him, the way his eyes twinkle, the way he carried himself when we first met--all of that somehow worked together to draw me in. Basically, I think provided the facial features are pleasing to me, I can like just about anyone, no matter their hair, skin, or eye colour.

With women, I feel like a lot of the same standards apply, but in a different vein: I like 'em curvy, I don't mind a few extra pounds (as I have them myself), I don't mind them thin (as long as they look healthy), and if they happen to have a nice pair of legs, it's a bonus. But like with men, I have to find something about the shape of their face and their eyes pleasing.

Basically it's complicated, and unless I start compiling a bunch of pictures of men and women I find attractive, I really can't put a name to my types. It's also important to note that a lot of this is first impression, too; if someone has a lousy attitude, it doesn't matter how gorgeous I find them--I will immediately lose interest if they're a-holes.

 

I agree with @BiGemini87 . For me there will just be a guy some where who doesn’t have to look like any other guy I’ve lliked before and I’ll be attracted to him. I still don’t know if that’s attraction or me acknowledging they are nice looking.
For girls I like my own stature— small slightly curvy. And also thin and tall.
But sometimes I will like a girl who doesn’t fit in that criteria, and whatever.
Attraction for me is hard to fit. Like, I am attracted to androgynous looking guys and girls also. And nice people I will grow an attraction to. Also after years of living being taught gay is bad it is hard to acknowledge I like a girl even though I’m a 5 on the Kenzie.

 

One with a big heart
