    Yay!

Its wild - I don't realize how "new" tons of things are because they've always existed in my lifetime. But that was only a couple years before my grandparents :$

The women who fought for the right to vote were truly inspiring and a force to be reckoned with. We need their determination and spirit today, in order to prevail against many of the modern injustices in our world. In the UK, the suffragette movement endured so much pain and heartache to win the right to vote and it makes me so mad when I hear women of the current generation saying they can't be bothered to vote or will just follow their husbands lead.

We the Women have worked and fought so hard just to earn the right to vote and it shall be that way onward.
We will fight to protect Roe v. Wade. We will fight to protect our own bodies away from men and religion. We shall protect those who are vulnerable from domesticated violence and rape.
    ONWARD FOREVER!

It makes me think of the song Sister Suffragette from Mary Poppins. I think the song kind of says it all.
