In a country where LGBTQIA is not legal yet it gets quite hard to make new friends. I hope I can make new penpals here or find people to talk to

You have no idea what I'm going through right now . I actually just posted my coming out story on the coming out forum . Things got so bad so fast
Yeah sometimes it is. Especially now . When I came out everything went to hell it was really bad and 5 months later I'm still struggling mahn. My dad chose to support me but the rest of the family just cut us off. My mum divorced my dad just because he was associated with me. She called me "sinful" btw. My dad got diagnosed with colon cancer and he's got surgery in a few weeks . We can't afford it because my dad lost a lot in his divorce, nearly all his friends . We resulted in online fundraising which is still on going btw . If anyone would like the link just comment. I just joined empty closets to find a sort of support system . Coz over here its not easy finding people who understand what i have been through.
