Okay...this week has been kind of weird. I feel weird? I just feel...off? I don’t really know how to explain it. Last week on Wednesday I decided to buy a new car which was exciting, but then 4 days after purchasing, a rock hit my windshield and broke it. Then yesterday I got a bolt in my tire and it went flat, I waited for roadside to change my tire for three hours. He saw my odometer and just looked at me and said “I’m so sorry, that’s awful”. I went in to get it (the tire) repaired today with the dealership and they couldn’t repair it, I had to pay $200 for a new tire... Yesterday there was a homeless man wandering the gas station I stopped at (while waiting for roadside). This morning, he was standing in front of my house...my house is pretty far from where I was stranded. When I came back from the dealership, at 2:30pm, he was still on my block. It’s weird I remember him, but he was wearing all brown, brown tee, pants, and shoes so he stood out. I’m not a very religious person, but I’m going to church tomorrow, if I’m being completely honest, I haven’t been having the nicest thoughts as of late. I’ll constantly catch myself thinking something negative about coworkers? I just don’t feel normal, and I’m confused.

Is it narcissistic to imagine how I would respond while watching interviews of other people?

Omg I’ve been seeing that here in AZ. I don’t know if some people are doing it because of the virus, but I think it’s crazy.

Maintaining friendships is hard and exhausting. It takes effort! The longer they run the more they take. The benefits are definitely worth it, but it still catches me off-guard how I have to make a conscious effort to "put in the work" so to speak and not revert back to my isolationist self.

Now that's enough "friending" for a day, time to drop off the face of the Earth until Thursday at least.

A pat on the back is always nice, but could you not, like, literally pat my back? Especially during an epidemic.

    Friend: Huh, you were quick.

Me: Yeah, I'm a fast walker.

Friend: Well, you know why that is.

Me (thinking they're going to bring up my lanky legs): Haha yeah I get that a-

    Friend: It's because you're gay.

    Me: .... I mean you're not wrong.

There are so many threads I see here that I have so much to say about and absolutely no energy to type it out. Adult life I guess.

One more day at work. One more day at work and then a three-day weekend.
