I'm recently out to my fiance but that is all. I need a place to talk and ask questions when I need help and answers. Thanks in advance for any future posts I may make, this is just an introduction. I have always felt very lonely and due to how I was brought up, it took leaving home to figure out partially who I am and now it makes sense why I always felt so alone. Was anyone else brought up religious and may relate?

My parents raised me in their image of Christianity. I like to call them "lazy christians." They stopped going to church when we moved states, and I fell away when my dad explained to me "Homosexuality is a sin because it goes against what God wanted." I was 9, and that was the last time I cared about "god-with-a-capital-G." I've become a very spiritual person in my adult years, what people call a "neo-pagan."

Hope to talk more in the future! <3
