Which do you prefer? I used to almost exclusively use Apple products but I switched to PC when the new touchbar MacBook Pro came out. Now I can’t go back to Mac computers because they don’t support Nvidia.

Depends on what I'm using it for.

Growing up I exclusively used Windows. Thats the operating software we had at home and my schools had, so that's what I used.

Got to college and used Macs for the first time and found they worked well for the programs and software I needed for classes.

Now I use both. I have a Windows desktop and a Mac laptop. I find Mac works better for design/art/animation software, and I use Windows for gaming mostly.

I like Windows. It's what I grew up with so it's familiar. I used Macs sometimes in high school but never liked them as much.

I use both, even linux. It's good to know all of them (save for linux which is more specialized).

Both Mac and windows do the same thing in very similar ways, to be honest. The real differences between the OS are technically hidden. From there, it's just a matter of the UI (cosmetic) and the available applications.

Nether platform does one task better than another from a computation point of view. It is easier, though, to get GPUs (and optimized drivers) and games for Windows.

That being said, Apple does make pretty well made hardware, OS aside. (Did you know that you can install windows on a Mac?)

Grew up with windows, had a macbook for a while, and am now using windows and linux. The macbook took a while to get used to and I missed some customization options, but besides the fact that dual-booting it with windows didn't work, I encountered the least issues on the macbook and it did great with what I used it for. Every other windows device I've used seems to somehow glitch/bug and requires some tinkering with drivers/registry edit/etc. Though in hindsight most of those issues might have been my own fault.

To me the customization (and cheaper price) was worth struggling with windows. However, in the end, I was encountering a few bugs/functionality functions in windows which i couldn't turn off so I switched to linux. Arguably i'm encountering more issues in linux but there is better accessibility which allows me to fix them myself.

I'm pretty much exclusively a Windows person. I can also work in Linux environments (my degree kinda requires we have experience with Linux). My artist friends definitely swear by Macs, but I worked on one for a couple of months trying to do VR development (which is impossible) and that kinda burned me on the whole thing.

I’ve never used a Mac probably due to the price. One of my aunts was nice enough to buy my sister a €1000 Mac for college but I had to buy my own so it was windows. I don’t use it and it’s about 3 years old now. I used it twice to type essays and that’s it. I use an iPad and iPod touch and my mother uses my iPad mini. I don’t need my laptop but my dad has shown an interest in finally entering the 21st century two decades in so maybe he’ll use it.

I have a Mac book pro — that’s my main work computer because it’s great with music compensation. I like the ecosystem mainly. I mean I have an iPhone, and we use tablets for the band for drill charts/music. It’s great. Rather than carrying around two 3” binders everything is readily accessible from a tablet. Which it’s great if I edit the music, I don’t have to redistribute the scores to staff. Or if the drill team changes stuff they don’t have to run around like a crazy person to the rest of the staff “hey I changed set 99a these six specific people were moved three steps thataway.”

Windows all the way. I've never used a Mac Desktop or Laptop, and I prefer android phones to iOS anyway.

Same. We used to have Macs in school, but I never really got used to them. I play a bunch of games anyways which Windows is undisputedly the best choice for. I have no issues with iPhones, but I always go with Android because I don't like how much Apple locks down iOS. I do use Linux a bit for work, but that's just minor stuff using the command line.

If I ever sit at a windows machine I freeze ... it’s like driving a car blindfolded!

I guess you could use windows for the sake of playing video games, for anything else Mac OS is the solution...
