I assume he would need lube also? (Either something like KY jelly or Vaseline?)
(Again, relatively inexperienced lesbian here, so I don’t know, but...)

Yes, any of the above listed or any that you could pick up relatively easy at Walmart or a drug store.

I may or may not have partially figured out I was gay by reading a lot of smutty Mass Effect and Harry Potter lesbian fanfic...some of which was kinkier than others (if you’re wondering how I guessed that). Stop judging me. Lol

I grew up in the 80s when all rock starts wore leather and spandex pants that left nothing for the imagination. no judgement from me.

It feels a bit like we're trying to teach a dog to chew sticks here.

"........No, c'mon, it's fun, you'll like it, honestly. No....with your teeth. No your teeth!.....etc"

Some just don't like to chew i guess.

Is it that, or are we subconsciously trying to defend against antiquated mind sets?

I guess part of my thought....I’m a lesbian. I’ve known and accepted that I’m a lesbian for over a year now. I’ve been going on dates since August. And I’m still nowhere close to actually having sex with another human person, because I just haven’t gotten that far along with anyone. Granted maybe it’s different for guys.

Part of my thought was that even if he decided tomorrow he wants to live his gay life, it may take awhile to actually find a partner. Especially given where his profile says he lives. I assume it could be no trivial to find the other gay men if it’s all underground. Maybe I’m projecting, though.

Plus, it sounds like he likes the stick. He’s just afraid of it.

Do you know why you would not want to be gay? Think about what social "rules" and standards you learned as a child could be manifested into this subconsiously. I see you're from Azerbaijan, where, from my understanding, has a lot of homophobia due to the majority being uneducated on the subject. This may not be correct, but maybe there is a fear of social backlash and ostracism from loved ones in the back of your mind? What ever the cause is, being gay is not anything to kill yourself over. No matter how much you might disagree with this, you would be just as great of person if you really were gay than if it turns out you're not. If you really do experience such thoughts, you should seek help from your therapist. If your therapist is not LGBT friendly, find one that is and seek help from them. Give yourself time, you will probably come to terms with being gay. Compulsory heterosexuality is what happens when someone assumes heterosexuality because the people they're surrounded by are all straight and cisgendered. You may be experiencing this. I hope your thoughts become happier in the near future, and please know that you're not alone in how you feel. <3
