    I love being genderqueer
I love wearing women's and men's clothes, and getting make up and all of that. Sometimes I thnk we should reflect on the great positive that is exploring and expressing non-cis gender identities.

Present your positive and encouraging stories, tips and feelings about gender stuff

I'm also genderqueer and enjoy men's and women's clothes. I love wearing women's underwear as well. I've never worn makeup other than nail polish (which I love) and the one time my niece, nephew, and their friends gave me a makeover as a joke (I looked hideous, in a hilarious way). The next thing I'd like to try in women's clothing is a bra. I still look like a man, and think that I look better in men's clothing, though.

I too love nail polish! It's the bomb.

Bras and make-up are great fun! There's nothing that makes you feel more feminine than lippy and boobs

I encourage you to give them a go.

totally agree with Dreamsexul. I never felt right. Only started to feel normal once I fit a bra. Of course I am in the binary end of trans. Lots of ways to approach it though with either very shallow sports bras or padding(stuffing/cutlets).

Enjoy your experimentation. See what works for you and what doesn't.

    Warmly,

    Jacqui

Agree. It's fun to primp with makeup and jewelry. It's thrilling to put on a suit+tie. Maybe I just like dress-up in general

Something super positive from my first ER visit post Name change:
I had been asked if I was pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant.
It happened again at my most recent visit.

    It’s like “I’m honored.”

honestly, I think I’ve passed to most since even before my transition....

I’ve successfully deleted a mental malware which kept telling me that shopping for clothes in the womens department was something naughty or novelty. Very happy to report that it’s been soundly replaced with a simple yet sincere “thank god, I finally got something that actually fits properly!”

I felt the same way when I started shopping for women's clothes. I still haven't worked up the nerve to go to a dressing room (one that has an attendant) to try on women's clothes. Also now that I've begun an initial search for bras, I feel a bit uncomfortable, but that will likely fade as well.
