    Lol.
Surely no one actually believes that meme do they?

Well at least you can educate them.

    Quick question about pansexuality:
Is it like bisexuality in that it doesn't have to be equally split between feminine/masculine characteristics?

To answer your question about pansexuality. Pansexuality, or omnisexuality, is the sexual, romantic or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their sex or gender identity. Pansexual people may refer to themselves as gender-blind, asserting that gender and sex are not determining factors in their romantic or sexual attraction to others

    OK.
But I'm confused as to whether that requires an equal split or not?

For example, I find only feminine characteristics attractive, though regardless of whether they are instantiated in someone who has a penis or not, or an object or human. Is that gynephilic pansexuality or something else?

    No worries, I don't know either

I think it likely one can gynephilic pan, skoliophillic pan, or androphilic pan as well as a 'balanced' pan. But I'm not sure it really matters

I think I fall into the pansexual category. I trans and gender-bending people quite attractive in addition to standard cis men and women. When it comes to trans an gender-bending people, I think AFAB people are more attractive than AMAB people.

I think it goes like this:

Gynephilic pan - finds feminine characteristics attractive, regardless of sex/gender
Androphilic pan - find masculine characteristics attractive, regardless of sex/gender
Skoliophillic pan - finds the 'mix' attractive

I would be gynephilic with some skoliophillic tendencies. Who doesn't love the 'mix'?

I'm not sure I can even pronounce those words, but I think I am the same as you on that.

I tend to go through periods of being more attracted to one gender than the other, and it tends to switch every few years. Whether that would be bisexual, pansexual, or something else I am not sure.
