I should note that I appreciate your concern and the heads up. It is a real shame that the modern trans-friendly term has such a similarity to an older offensive term.

I hope it doesn't cause you distress, Jacqui.

    Dreamsexul,

I totally get it. That's why I say logically it does not bother me. However, just the connection to Blanchard's word is what I am more reacting. to. Sorry, I don't mean to be a pain or so sensitive.

You're not a pain. I can understand the concern. I wish there was a better term.

Wow! I liked girl stuff, too, when I was younger. I always felt connected to girls, like they could be my best friends. I finally found a best friend who was a boy, in 5th grade, but, as we got older he was always propositioning me. I was raised as a devout Christian and always turned him down. I was never attracted to him anyway, even when he had me ride on his horse, in the saddle with him, behind him actually, and he started the horse galloping! IDK, later he spread rumors about me being gay, "a fag", which was weird; he was the one who kept asking me for "favors."

I will not say this was a sign I was LGBT plus (what ever "plus" means) but something stirred inside me when a guy who I liked reached over and grabbed my hand. We were on a hike together in the wilderness, just him and I. I'm easy going so I did not resist. We walked for ~1.5 miles holding hands. I was complete putty after the ~1.5 miles.

This was the beginning of serious questioning. I couldn't figure out what that "feeling" was - putty. I had never felt it when holding hands with girls. WTF is going on? .A couple years later I found ECs.

This last weekend I spent some time with a dear friend, a guy who in many ways is very much like me. Except he is full-on straight. Occasionally he'd mention the pleasure of seeing an attractive woman, and I realized I didn't feel the same way. I mean, I appreciate beauty, but it doesn't stir me up the same way it stirs up my friend. Finally, now, I think about other guys I have known who would say things about feeling sexual attractions toward women, and it was something different from what I felt.

On the other hand, there was a guy in one of my college classes who had an amazingly beautiful body. Once during the lecture we happened to lock eyes on each other. He smiled at me and I felt this amazing energy throughout my body. I'll never forget that moment.

It's interesting how now this all makes sense.

I couldn't take my eyes off this other guy in my 10th grade science class. (didn't have a clue I was gay back them) Lol, to this day I fantasize about being intimate with him - its hot and drippy!

Thats it. Gee you must be gay.

Yes it is interesting isn't it?

I had mild crushes on a few other girls here and there and Madonna. But being bisexual I guess I just focused on guys for so long. They demanded attention, lol. I would attract lesbians here and there. It was when I was 21 and working with a woman who would wink at me all the time and pay attention to me, and me being attracted to her that made me realize that in fact I was bisexual. But since I'm not attracted to many people that made the situation more confusing I guess.

I too read your post and was really comforted reading it! I was also more of a tomboy and struggled to have friends that were girls. But I always thought about girls, not guys.

My discovery came in my early 20's. I was always looking at Penthouse and Hustler
magazines exploring the girl genitalia. I came across a photo layout of a couple
having sex. Out of nowhere, I "noticed" the naked man and his erect dick about to enter
the girl. She was cute but he was HOT. His dick appeared to be foot long! I pictured
myself as the girl lying on my back, legs up waiting for him to enter me.

We found a box of porn mags in a neighbors garage when I was a kid, probably 9. I too could not get enough of the big dicks. I didn’t even notice the women.

I wore tights in a play and other boys did too. It stuck with me and was a turn on. Years later I saw a sex documentary and two male actors were offset, completely nude but kissing each other. To my surprise I got an erection. I knew something was different.....and it certainly became so.

I knew I liked both boys and girls since 3rd grade I actually still have a crush on my best friend. I was in middle school when I heard and learned the word Bisexual I had alot of guys and a couple girl crushes throughout high school I kept it hidden for a very long time

well I always have fantasies and crushes with women through all my life but when a guy would look at me in a sensuous way or touch me or my hands in a caressing way I always would allow it and enjoy it. I never questioned my sexuality until college but never had any experience with another man (I came from a Catholic background through my years in private school), until later on in life I started having bicuriosity for years but never acted on it until recently (3-4 weeks now) I gave oral sex to another man and found out that I could enjoy it (it was an interesting experience that left my mind processing the event for one week and a half, it felt more overwhelming than reading 3 books at the same time "processing of sensations, mental patterns and life in general as well as my body reaction towards the event" ). Now I am experiencing a craving and desire to do it again. So yeah I guess I discovered that I can enjoy having sex with another man if the opportunity presents itself.
