I didn't know facial expressions could be masculine. And, feeling as handsome as JFK is not that silly, he was a very good looking guy (though I always thought Junior was better looking).

Another update on myself, I went out shopping yesterday saying to myself "this is it, win or lose this is the last time for a while that I am going shopping for women's clothes". I had been so frustrated from having a hard time finding stuff that fit me and that was a good price. I went to one store simply because it was next to another store that I specifically wanted to try and had time to kill before the bus and found a dress and two skirts that I liked at that store. I am wearing one of the skirts today. It's the first time I've ever worn a skirt out in public. It feels a little weird not having any type of clothing between my legs. It's a long skirt, going all the way down to my ankles, which is weird because I'm so tall.

I remember the few times I wore a dress. I felt free. I see myself in two worlds so to speak.
I have a strong feminine side, I am not sure how to even put a label on me.

I say I am human and sexual and that is where the story ends for me.

If is could use words to describe me to a T, I am not sure what I would say.

I am me. I am me. I am me.

I go by he and him. I think in ways most do not.

I love I care I give and receive and I show by example.

I am me and I love

I will not pretend to be anything other than me.

I am sexual and I am human.

    Let me be me.

    Yesssss. u__u Well put.

I feel less physical dysphoria than before. I feel more patient in waiting for hrt one day. Today a person touched my thight shirt with her fingers and I wasn't cringing. I just accept that I have one content in the mind and a non-corresponding shape of the body. Because it's temporary.

My family never really understood me. My mom did not want me to be me.

    I just kept being me.

    I love who I am.

In only four days of wearing a skirt in public, I've received multiple compliments. One was specifically about my skirt, a lady said I was "rocking it" and the other two were that I generally "look nice", which I've never received a general compliment like that before, they've always been more specific.

Pansexual I fall in love with the person. Someone explained to me what Pansexual was and well it fits.

I've recently posted some photos of myself on Facebook 'in drag'. The comeback were highly positive. I feel so much freer now and much more confident that I even posted the photo of the makeover/photoshoot I had last year.

A guy complimented me on my skirt today, which is saying something because I've received more compliments from women in the past two weeks than from guys all time.

Plus, I also wanted to bump this topic back up to the top. It's been two months with no posts in here, there has to be some good stuff going on for everyone here, so come on people and post your victories, small and large.

I just finished compiling a small book of poetry, it’s in review stage right now, but I hope to get it published, hopefully next year

A woman asked for my advice about a skirt. She saw I was wearing pants underneath my skirt (they're not quite pants, not quite leggings) and asked if that keeps me warm. I said it did in that weather (approx. 45F), but was unsure about whether it would keep me warm in the middle of January.

I havent been on this site in ages (pre mobile update ages ), but thought I'd take a perusal for nostalgia's sake. At any rate, I found out last Sunday that I was accepted as one of 20 freshman into an all female scholars cohort at my university, which is an amazing and affirming feeling that I am going to be embraced into a group as a woman and have that affirmation on my resume.

Renewed my license and got to take a new picture that finally reflects who I am.
My license was one of the things that made me a little anxious since I wasn’t sure if people would believe it was me in the picture, and I would avoid buying anything anywhere other than my hometown. Now that that’s done, I just have to wait to get the official one in the mail.

My case is a little different. I was born female, but I'm andro. I don't have a gender in my heart, I am a person. I have no times when I'm feminine or masculine, I'm just me. I've been trying to dress in new ways so that my physical gender isn't so obvious, as it makes me uncomfortable.

    Two small victories.

First, I had to get some paperwork done, and the woman at the front desk actually blushed and asked me what my gender was. It may have embarrassed her, but for me it was awesome. She couldn't tell my physical gender!

I got scheduled for my hysterectomy. I only need three more therapists visits. So happy

That is so great. I'm not sure if either of those are little victories. Congratulations.

    Warmly,

I did it~! I finally went shopping for clothes in the girls' section!
I mixed and matched boy and girl stuff, found my sizes for most things, and even bought some socks to take home with me. Boyshorts were super comfy, but I couldn't find any I really liked and wanted to get. And since I'm not out of the closet I didn't feel like buying any of the other things I tried on. But I'm so happy that I can finally shop gender-neutrally. In fact, one of the places I went had a gender-neutral fitting room! It was a really wonderful experience. If you gave me advice in my previous thread, thanks so much <3

    Fairyboy,

Well done. Congratulations. That can be nerve wracking. I'm glad you were able to see it through.

    Take care

Another couple small victories today! Came out to my sister and shaved my upper body! I feel like I'm finally becoming myself on the outside, and it's a wonderful feeling. I've got a new year's resolution to quit holding myself back all the time, and be more adventurous. I am ready to step out into the world all on my own, and stop hiding my girly personality. Hoping for the best!
