Hello everyone! I feel like I should say a bit about myself so you all can get to know me. I’m an eighteen year old trans male, and a biromantic asexual. I’ve known I was trans for about as long as I can remember. I’ve only come out to my close friends so far, but I plan on telling my father soon. I’m not sure if I should tell my mother though, as I still live with her and I believe she’s LGBT-phobic. I also write, read, or draw during my free time. I hope I’ll get to know you all better soon.
Very lovely! Personally I absolutely love First Suite in E♭ for Military Band: Chaconne, Jupiter from the Planets Suite, both by Holst; Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, and Symphony No. 9 by Dvorak. Carmina Burana if you don't know the history premiered in Germany in 1937. It was an absolute favorite with the Nazi party, even though most historians agree that Orff himself disagreed with the Nazi party. The lyrics themselves are based on poems but many people believe they were specifically chosen because of their insulting nature towards the Nazi party. But Orff himself was so important to modern music education. He studied how children learn music and how educators can better teach music to children. In fact, much of what he studied is the basis of modern music curriculum.
