Has anyone played it online yet? To the mods: I'm not asking for anyone's gamer tags or usernames. How is the online gameplay itself, is it laggy or shitty. Also I got a code from Gamestop of unlocking Batista(the WWE wrestler guy/actor) as an Avatar/playable character. And correct me if I'm wrong guys, but I think I can unlock Arnold(aka Terminator) as a character and Linda Hamilton's Terminator character. Either Arnold or Linda's characters. Anyone know?
I don't, been waiting to get paid so I can get it. I love the story mode of Gears, but and have never played any of the PVP in the other games. I usually just co-op it with a friend. Maybe someone will chime in who has played it. But I just want more grumpy Marcus and bald headed Baird.
I've only played the story mode (and haven't finished it yet), but have heard the online is much better than the previous one.
I played online last night. I finally unwrapped the game from the packaging last night. I played arcade online mode. I got my ass handed to me pretty bad. I played as Batista(the WWE wrestler guy/actor he has an avatar) and played as some other Alien dude but had shitty newbie weapons. I think Linda Hamilton/Sarah Connor from Terminator, she has an Avatar on the game which is a code that you get from the vanilla game. I think Gamestop had a code as well
played it too, It's wayy better than gears 4 had, and it felt a bit more compelling than before. I still want my Tai and Bernie back
I bought the Vanilla copy of the game from Game Stop, Linda Hamilton was the only Terminator series avatar that was unlocked with the Vanilla code from the game. What is unlocked with the GameStop code? I know Batista he's unlocked if you play between launch till end of Oct I believe
