I keep hearing bad things about Arizona. Is it the worst state for LGBT?

No. Arizona is in the Southwest of the United States. I would say the states in the southeast are the worst to be gay. Arizona did legalize gay marriage a year before the Supreme Courts made it legal in all 50 states. We only had 13 states left before it was legalized in 2015 and the majority of them were located in the Southeast. The Southeast was also notorious for turning down same sex couples for wedding licenses even after the Supreme Court legalized it nationwide.
