Which artist do you prefer? Kylie isn’t as popular in the US but thanks to YouTube she quickly became one of my favorite gay icons. Madonna seems kind of mean but she’s done a lot for the LGBT community (and Vogue is a classic).
Why not both? I really love them both, but I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Madonna fan having been a diehard fan since 1985.
Honestly, both. There's music from both I don't like and music from both I love. Each of them deserve equal standing for me.
Madonna is on another level altogether. She has sold 300 million albums and this has made her the biggest selling female artist of all time. Who else in the 1990s wrote songs about people dying of aids? She still to this day supports the LGBTQ community and pushed the envelope with regards to sex and sexuality. She made it ok to be different. She released a new album this year called Madame X which hit number 1 in the USA and number 2 in the UK. And this nearly 40 yrs into her career. Kylie is ok, like a few songs but madonna is something else.
Madonna. I know of a few Kylie Minogue songs but there’s no comparison between the two. I love a lot of Madonna’s songs but can’t think of the name of any of Kylies.
For me it has to be Madonna. I have some good memories attached to her songs. And as Rade mentioned earlier she is in a whole other league compared to Kylie.
