    Hi All,

So i am heteroromanic bisexual (with some interest sexually in women). I'm 33 and male.

So i've never had an actual, exclusive relationship with a woman but have dated women. I tend to either go out iwth female friends alone (as platonic friends) or dinner with guys (not in a sexual or romantic way) so my parents may wonder wtf.

Anyway, three things my mum and dad have said:

    1) I said I met a friend on valetines day for coffee from a dating site (well known, straight dating site) and she asked boy/girl.
    2) The same thing happened again when I said I'm going to a party from a friend from a dating site, from my dad.
    3) I was texting at a dinner outside and my mum asked who you texting girlfriend or boyfriend.

    Interested in opiinions....

If they don't know, it at the very least sounds like they really won't care.

They most likely know or suspect. They wouldn't be saying "boy or girl" otherwise. They are also telegraphing that they are OK with it.

My mom did something similar prior to me coming out. She gave little hints like asking if I liked a boy or a girl or when I bought a jean jacket, she suggested a rainbow pin. While it did freak me out at first with the possibility of her knowing and I didn't think she wouldn't support me, it confirmed her support and ended up working out for the better. Best of luck!

They are telling you they suspect but more importantly that they are open and accepting of you being bi. Which is pretty awesome.
