Hi, I'm a gay guy from South Africa. Been lurking here for a month, folks in the forum come across as nice and chill, so I'm happy choosing this as the first one I've ever joined!

Hey! I've just joined a couple of days ago: guess what, I've been lurking too. So I can relate to you on that level. I have always been intimidated in my limited experience with online forums. I just saw your post! I find learning about different peoples' experiences fascinating, which is part of the reason why I joined this platform. And as for me, I like to say I'm nice, but I'm not so sure about the chill part (haha). I look forward to talking if you want.

Hello, thanks for extending an olive branch. But I regret this so much. I was diagnosed with Avoidance Personality Disorder, which is in short an excruciating state of mind to be in. So if can't be ever be comfortable with myself, I could never be around other people. What I am trying to say is that is this why I'm deleting my profile and try work on myself again. I do hope that you can learn from other queer folk here. Go well.

Good luck! And please take care of yourself. That's the most important. It's not the same thing, But I am diagnosed with OCD, so I can relate. It's rough. And don't ever say you're sorry! I say it too often myself: I've figured out that people are more understanding than I give them credit for.

Sooo, I'm not deleting my account. Been convinced to seek proper therapy. Until then, when I can afford said therapy, I'll try using cognitive behavioral worksheets to address my irrational outbursts.

Having OCD must be frustrating, hope you're treating yourself kindly.
