I am in to the thirty dollar hacking device called the raspberry pi. It is a tiny credit card sized computer you install Linux on and that can be used for prototyping or even just a desktop if you want.
There is a guy on another forum who is using one to control a radio controlled truck. The Pi runs everything on the truck including sound and lights and he has an Xbox wireless controller to run the Pi.
Ooh! I was into raspberry pi about a year ago. It is such a cool product. I was learning how to code python on it. However, school started and I had no time. I want to start it again, but I have a lot on my plate right now and stuff I want to do. But it's definitely on my list!
