Kind of been a meh day. Thinking all you young people are so lucky to have a place like EC to come to with your questions and concerns, fears, hopes and dreams!

I feel this so much. It's been 95-105 degrees with high humidity here every single day for the last month. The joys of Florida summer.

Ugh. No thank you! I'd probably just stay in side in the air conditioning all summer if I lived in Florida. I remember being down there in 2014 at Disney in August. Too. Damn. Hot!

I hate being hot. My sister jokes that I'm a middle aged woman because I'm constantly hot.

I love Llamas and Alpacas and well Elephants too but then Elephants eat a lot and are expensive to raise.

Grown-ass adults are whining because the "Little Mermaid" isn't going to be white in the live-action remake.

    What

    She's a fucking mermaid

Guys, she's not a real character; don't you have anything better to be mad about? I wish I had nothing better in my life to be mad about than whether a fictional character is white or not.

The freakin' Jonas Brothers are currently at the Jersey Shore, three weeks before I'm supposed to be there.

What the hell, universe?? I missed meeting one of my favorite bands by that much??

I am considering dyeing my hair for the first time. My hair is dark brown and I want to add some highlights to it!

Kinda sad how people complain about the (phone) emergency alerts waking them up.

Also kinda scary how I've slept through them all. In the most selfish way possible, good thing they were for amber alerts - I would have died if they were for a tornado or something LOL

In therapy yesterday I was mostly just blabbering on about all the work I'm doing on my condo and said "I just keep plugging away and being smart and strategic about what I'm doing, and I get done what needs to be done. You know, that's kind of my approach to life in general." Seriously it's a great space to talk through the little things and the big things and I highly recommend. Even when things are going pretty smoothly it's still so valuable

Some days I really wonder if I should move out of state to start over. I’ve always envied the ones who moved far away from where they’re from because it’s scary AF.

As scary as it can be at times, it can also be rewarding in gaining new perspectives and have choices that one might not have had prior to moving. I have moved across Canada for a new opportunity some years ago. Even though it didn't work out as I had hoped, I still never looked back on the choice that I made.

Always weird coming back to old haunts that don't feel quite the same anymore. :/

I've thought about doing that exact thing in the past and it's terrifying to me personally. Having to start everything from scratch is scary but also kind of exciting.

It's worth it. Completely worth it. I've moved 5 times (soon to be 6 next year probably) despite only being 23, in 3 different states not even remotely near each other, and started over each time. You never really realize how restricted and routine your life is one place until you leave it and experience new things elsewhere that are completely outside the realm of what was possible in the old place. My winter hobbies went from snowboarding, to horse and bull (small ones) riding, to surfing and boating in the span of 2 years based on geographic location for example. For me, the downside is nowhere really feels like home to me, but since you've been in one place a long time already you'll feel at home there even after leaving plus all your new experiences to enjoy.

Finally watching the Blue Planet. I have been meaning to watch it for ages, never getting to it. But tonight, is the night!

Ugh, my stomach hurts. I think I ate too much.

    Hope I don't vomit later.
