I can't take coffee well when I'm tired. It gives me nausea and it doesn't let me sleep either.

Is this a thing, or coincidence?

As it’s caffeinated, I guess it makes sense that you can’t sleep.

As for the nausea, that may just be how your body reacts. I often go off sweet foods when I’m tired, just the way I am.

Perhaps try a different warm drink.

Yeah the part about having hard time sleeping was obvious. The combination of nausea and insomnia is just hellish. I'm fine when I'm not tired and not stressed.

Yes, nausea is tough when combined with anything.

Perhaps an early night once or twice a week.

Well of course it makes you nausious - it's coffee. Coffee is poo.

Try a nice herbal tea with a drop of honey to help you relax.

I like my coffee how I like my women...I don't. Diet mountain dew is my main source of caffeine

I'm an avid coffee drinker....to the point where it doesn't keep me awake anymore. BUT....if I haven't eaten in a long while (like missed a meal or two) and I drink coffee, I will get the caffeine 'jitters' to the point I'm nauseous.

Hm guess caffeine really isn't for everyone. I feel like a child for just realizing this! It sucks that I have nothing to fuel me when I'm pulling an all-nighter.

Coffee is pretty rough on the stomach. Tea is a good source of caffeine that's less likely to cause nausea. Black tea tends to have the highest caffeine content. I love coffee, but I can only drink a couple cups before I start to feel sick.

Coffee changes the acidity of your stomach when you drink it. It also can exasperates problems with H. Pylori, a bacteria that causes stomach ulcers. If you find lots of acidic foods/drink bother your stomach on a regular basis, you might want to visit a doctor and get it checked out. If you want to alleviate the symptoms, you can add a pinch of baking soda to your coffee, or take some calcium carbonate tablets.

On occasion, i get nauseous while drinking coffee. Generally when im tired, have to go into work and stressed. I'll switch to dew or kickstart the next day or two and be back to good again with coffee

It's funny to read how many people use The Dew. It was my go-to because coffee gives me heartburn. But I've stopped caffeine altogether and feel better for it. Now if I could just quit those sour gummies. (Not "dummies" stupid autocorrect. Although sour dummies sound like no fun at all either.)
