How long after top surgery am I able to work out? I've read answers everywhere from six weeks to six months.

I used to be big into competitive swimming and was wondering when I might be able to resume training?

What has been your experience with top surgery recovery and exercise?

I would say I was ok after two or three months. It's getting hard to remember exactly since it was almost 2 years ago.

It seems to be different for everybody. I hope you will be lucky and have an easy and quick recovery!

I think I remember my surgeon saying three months. I didn't really start exercising until around ten months post-op, but that's just because I was never quite into working out. I believe the rule is six months for over-the-head stuff (because of scars stretching).
