Same. So much so that I find it incredibly difficult to open up to other people. On one hand, it’s made me incredibly self confident in that I’m comfortable in my own company and can go away myself for days, but the downside is it can be lonely at times, and I don’t know how to make connections with other people. I feel I’ve built such a wall around myself that other people see it straight away and don’t bother to try and get to know me, they think I’m aloof.

Its called being taught homophobia without your knowledge or permission.

Learning from others, seeing others, is one of many ways we humans learn.

I guess I've just got to say, stop looking back, turn around and look forward.

The homophobes got one by on you. The real question now, what you going to do about it?

    Precisely.
