I need advice. I currently identify as straight, I am confused as I occasionally (2 or 3 times a year) have a gay dream, I wake aroused but its not a wet dream, the images are snaps as such and its not penetrative sex I wake up before that point. I tried exploring when I am solo and I can't maintain any arousal or finish to men but women I have no issues with sorting myself.

Im confused as people say dreams are signs your sexuality is trying to come through, others say its just a dream?

    Any advice?

Dreams have little to no bearing on reality. If you wouldn't want to be involved with men in real life, you're not gay and shouldn't worry about having gay dreams every once in awhile.

I think you shouldn't worry too much unless you notice any attraction to men in your everyday life.

That's pretty clear-cut. I know it's annoying to hear "don't worry" — a bit like telling someone with a bee-sting not to swell up — but... don't worry.

I agree if you had an erection while dreaming perhaps that may indicate something ie that it turned you on, but you did not mention that so I think like the others you can just put it down to dreaming and it does not have any great significance.

It could be something subconsious from your past.
