Rainbow Railroad is a great organisation, and I'm glad that it is located here in Canada. It was founded in 2006 and is located in Toronto; though they do have an office in New York as well. Since its founding they have helped more than 500 LGBTQ+ refugees to reach safety.

I never knew anything about the organization until learning about it via the 60 Minutes segment.

Having been to many foreign countries myself, and sad to say how terrifying some countries have been for me personally, I can relate to the sheer terror some LGBT people have gone through. It's not fun.

I’ve never heard about this organization before. This is beautiful. I know a guy who’s had to escape because of anti-LGBT persecution (impending honor killing). Losing your family is hard enough - never being able to go back home makes it even harder.

It's great that their are organizations out there who are helping LGBTQ people fleeing persecution. This is an organization I would be glad to donate to. Thanks for sharing. I had never heard of them until now.
