im obviously not going to get a binder very soon, as I'm not out to my family, and probably don't have the money: but I'm wondering what type of binder you find best- half tank, full tank, websites etc. I used GC2B's sizing and I'm roughly a 3XL, 105.5cm (41.5") chest, and 44.5cm (17.5") shoulders.

i have a half-tank GC2B binder, and i like it a lot better than the Underworks one i used to have. The material is so much comfier. I've only ever used half-tanks, and i like them. I think a full tank wouldn't fit me very well cause i've got an extra 10-20 pounds i should lose.

I use a GC2b full tank and I’ve gor no complaints and as far as I know, neither does my boyfriend.
I know that some people suggested getting a full length rather than a half binder if you’re bigger because it smooths out the stomach a bit, Irish of you've got a large chest because it isn’t longer and there’s no chance of your chest sticking out the bottom.
Personally I went for a full length because I cant stand things that don’t cover all of my torso, but as a 34DD I can say that I’ve had no problems with it and find ir very comfortable (albeit a bit hot, I've taken to wearing a strip of material around my middle to reduce boob sweat)

Personally, I find GC2B binders to be much more comfortable. I've heard most bigger chested/bodied guys prefer the full-length binders to the half. The only binders I'd trust are GC2B and Underworks. Don't get the any of the cheaper binders that may say "tomboy" or "lesbian" as their listing as they're not designed to be worn for long-term use. If you're desperate for a binder, you can find some binder donation programs you can apply for. Two that come to mind are: FtMEssentials, and PointOfPride.

There's also some useful information on binding on Hudson's Guide.

GC2B have been the best binders that I have gotten. I wear a full tank in the winter. I have about 40-50 extra pounds on me and the full length has never bothered me. I am planning on getting a half length one for the summer. I'm have not had a half length binder in a while.
