    I didn’t realize how burnt I got today...
    On a different note, I saw a former co-worker today, which was a nice surprise. Seems like the same old bullsh*t there, kind of glad it didn’t work out and I’m not working there.

    The fact that I now want an Islanders-Stars final feels like a joke. I don't even know what to do with this Stanley Cup anymore. I'm still upset that I finally put aside my loathing of the Lightning to pick them to win the Cup and they get swept in the first round by the Columbus Blue Jackets of all teams.

    I was really nervous about the new Brene Brown special.

    Shes amazing, but shes also a cis white and upper middle class woman. She could have gone wrong. Way wrong.

    But in her special she called out people in privilege so well and she is doing the work of creating a frame work for other white people to be okay with being uncomfortable with these very important conversations happening right now. It was done beautifully. Fucking amazing.

    She also purposefully mentioned Blacks Lives Matter and Trans Lives Matter as amazing movements that she respects. Man, I love her

    If you haven't seen it yet, Brene Brown new special on Netflix is a must watch!
