Ah, my favorite topic! There are some things that I will take note of right away: topping the list is a beautiful mouth on a beard and moustache free face. This entails well-shaped lips that are slightly pouty. I also love it when I see men with no tattooes and smooth, relatively hairless skin to boot. The icing on the cake are beautifully shaped forearms; the kind that have a certain, subtle plumpness, are definitely not skinny or bony, but also not the result of lifting at the gym several times a week… When a guy wears a white or pastel-colored shirt with rolled-up sleeves and he has really nice, somewhat tanned forearms, well, I can hardly look away! Summer times are great in this regard, hahah. Heavily gym-shaped bodies, on the other hand, are not a turn on for me, I really don’t like abs for example, I much prefer touching a smooth, flat stomach instead of washboard ’bumps’, lol. As a relatively short person myself ( 5’3 ft ) I also prefer guys that are not very tall - 5’10 ft ( around 177 cm ) is pretty much the ideal height in my opinion.

 

First, I had to look for this thread. I thought it was from around Thanksgiving. I was wrong. It's a little older than that.

I remember this answer and had intended to reply to it. I once ran a thread if we liked our own type. Some members did and some members did not. Mostly, I don't. If I do like it, there have to be some differences. I can remember two situations - once in a mall and once in a restaurant - where someone who looked too much like me was looking my way a little too long and I didn't know how I would handle it given the choice.

This is huge and I think it's probably even common. It rings a bell with me. There is definitely a type I look at and think the same thing about.

My answer would be:
Face - heavier or heavy brow, good bones, dark hair
Body - average height and build, more sturdy than lean, some body hair
Legs - thicker and hairy, especially the calves

When I was younger, I didn't think baldness or shaved heads looked all that good. I believe in conditioning. I've been reprogrammed to think that they can look real good.

The face, and the whole torso really. A nice upper body (chest, abs, shoulders, arms) is attractive to me. And I can't help but notice a nice bulge or ass too.

 

Its hard to put into words, how the parts come together in a way that isn't really seen in women.

Obviously, I'm not going to say things like beard/mustache, or excess body hair, since those are turn offs for me, but definitely, small things like how their muscles develop, bone structure, rougher skin.

I’ve thought long and hard about this, but I’m really struggling to list many features. I'm not into guys that are too muscular or too skinny, but that seems like such a stock answer. I generally prefer introverted guys, but that’s perhaps more of an indication that I’m emotionally and/or intellectually attracted to other men. And, while I usually find myself drawn to another man’s face, rather than their body, I have never instinctively regarded someone's eyes or lips as alluring. The idea of highly ranking, say, a circumcised penis or an uncircumcised penis in a list of most appealing male features doesn’t come naturally to me either.

It probably doesn’t help that I rarely watch porn (it’s OK, but I’m not crazy about it, and I’d rather eat some pizza or read a book etc) and I don’t masturbate (the latter genuinely doesn’t interest me, plus being dyspraxic means that I struggle with the physicality of it). I’m admittedly not accustomed to seeing certain physical features of other guys but, after reading other posts in this thread, what I’ve written doesn’t seem particularly standard or typical.

Well, I have sort of a strange answer. I'm a bisexual man, but I don't really find men attractive or check guys out that much. I'm certainly turned on, at times about the male genitalia, but not so much men's bodies or faces. One guy I was attracted to in real life was around my height which is 6'3", he was fit, had light brown hair and a beautiful face, to the point of being like model level attractive. He had a nice muscular body, like kind of on the medium/thin side but very ripped.

He's the only guy in real life I can remember looking at and going "Wow I want to be with him." He was a masculine guy and I'm a masculine guy.
