    Well, at the place I get my booze from, they card you regardless of whether you look 21 or 101. As soon as the woman at the counter (new girl) looked at my ID, just by the look on her face as she looked at it, then back at me, I already knew what she was going to say. At this point, I just know.

    It's cold in Florida and I'm not used to this at all. Got sick with the flu a few weeks ago and ended up getting over it. I'm thankful that I'm recovering from it all. Now my parents are sick... today is a good day so far but it seems stressful in the house hold today so I plan to do some creative writing today.

    One thing that helps you realize how mature and grown up you gotten is seeing the stupid or sort of immature things you messaged or posted on facebook 5 to 10 years ago.

    The New England Patriots are like the Bayern Munich of the NFL: absolutely everyone in the country hates them except for their own fans. Makes me glad I'm not an NFL fan, because I already have to see one team absolutely dominate a league (see the aforementioned German football team); I'd go nuts having to watch two of them.

    Been playing with succulents more now that I’m getting good at not killing plants haha

    Did my first arranagment this past weekend. Not bad for my first time. Want to do 3 more of these and then buy more snake toungues for the front entrance

    My son (28 years old) mentioned yesterday that he couldn't afford life insurance. He married a couple of years ago and is thinking of the distant future. I remembered taking out a $25,000 life insurance policy years ago. I paid a lump sum to ensure that I wouldn't have to make monthly payments for a ling time. I had forgot all about it. I called the life insurance company this morning. The policy, now run by another firm, is still active. There is still enough money in the account to last until 2027 before monthly payments will needed. I am making arrangement to transfer ownership of the policy to my son. Both he and I are thrilled!

    This snowstorm the past weekend really screwed me over. The good news was I at least got a bunch of overtime because of it. So, I guess that is a good thing. Before the rain today, we were still digging out. It was bad enough that 10 school busses had to be towed because they were stuck. The rain has melted a lot of snow, but now we are having flooding issues. It is going to all freeze again tomorrow. Yay Ohio...
