Except for Xmas eve, it was nothing out of the ordinary. Work, internet and hanging out with my friend and bf.
Spending time with immediate family. Wish I could've done more though, since I'm starting to feel kind of stir crazy.
I had two family get-togethers. One with my dad, my older (half) brother and his family, and my younger brother and his GF. The other with my mom and my aunts, uncles, and cousins from my mom's side of the family. Both of those were held on the Saturday and Sunday right before Christmas due to my younger brother and his GF wanting to spend Christmas with her (very religious) family in Chicago, and because I had cousins who needed to be back at work on the 26th, one in Florida, and the other in California. That left me with very little to do on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day themselves.
My brother came down from Dublin and my sister flew over from England for Christmas. I played Mario Kart once with my sister but she gave me Let’s Go Pikachu for Christmas and I’ve spent hours playing that. It took 26 years to get my first Pokémon game. My brother didn’t get presents and promised us gift cards. He didn’t give us any, and I bought two for him and other stuff besides. I miss them when they are not here but I couldn’t wait for them to leave. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
