    When you do something for someone it lifts their spirit, it shows you care.

    What if Miracles happen because people show love, animals show love. Maybe
    love is a force we all need whether we know it or not.

    We all could use a miracle every now and then.

    I am sending love to all that are here in hopes of good things to appear.

    Touch is very important.

    The lack of touch during the early years slows growth in infants. Infants who receive more than adequate levels of affection from their mothers and fathers are shown to be less likely to be hostile, anxious, or emotionally distressed as adults.

    And as adults we also need love and attention including touch.

    Speech is vital too. I remember reading about an experiment conducted in the 18th century by a prince in Poland or Prussia. He took in a number of infant orphans and gave instructions to have them clothed and fed. But he also ordered that no one talk to them. All the infants died. Perhaps it's just a legend, but the story reminded me about the power that a kind and comforting word can have in the lives of people.

    Well it is weird to not talk to a baby anyway.

    Not sure what they would have learned from such a study.

    We all need some kind of connection to other living things.

    We may never know how our efforts touch other people. I think of the times a total stranger has made eye contact with me and smiled, if only for a moment. That brief connection lifts my spirit amazingly.

    @TrevinMichael, I thinkyou're onto something good here!
