I sometimes watch anime to practice my Japanese listening skills, but I rarely have time to watch it. I like Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro. ^^
I do, not nearly as much anymore. I think it's been years since I've watched a full series. That said, I still have a deep love and fondness for Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Monster and Berserk. I did try to get into One Punch Man earlier this year, but kind of lost track, same with My Hero Academia.
I like Cowboy Bebop and Monster too. Cowboy Bebop had cool music. Monster had cool storyline. The first anime I love was Inuyasha. The fighting scenes were cool.
I like Ouran High School Host Club. It’s pretty good with some weird bits. I don’t think a girl in a guys uniform could pass for a guy but it’s an interesting concept. Also the fact the boys of the host club actively help her conceal her gender. They seem to enjoy having her disguised as a guy more than she does.
I love the Ghibli movies and sci fi feature films like Ghost in the Shell and Akira. I've yet to get hooked by any serialized anime though other than Saint Seiya which I adored as a kid. Watched quite a bit of Dragon Ball Z Kai this year and just fell off eventually.
I got a Studio Ghibli collection for xmas, and the entire Spice and Wolf series. Cowboy Bebop and Trigun are probably my all time favs. Ghost in the Shell and the Appleseed movies are all way up my list too.
I used to watch Attack on Titan but the long waiting times between seasons made me lose interest. Still waiting for One Punch Man season 2 on netflix
Aggretsuko is probably my favorite. I also loved Hellsing Ultimate, Death Note and One Punch Man. Castlevania, The Seven Deadly Sins and Fullmetal Alchemist are also good ones, but I admit I'm a bit lazy when it comes to "normal anime". One thing I don't like in most anime is the cliche of a villain who is absurdly strong, who then beats up the hero almost to death before the hero rises up and defeats the villain with the power of tears, emotions and friendship. I like emotional and epic moments, but that just doesn't make sense to me when it is used all the time. When an anime is supposed to be stupid (like One Punch), then it's OK to easily defeat a villain who can destroy the entire universe. When it is a serious story, I think it is super anticlimactic to make the hero cry on the floor and ramble about "not giving up", "I love my friends", yadda yadda, until power comes from nowhere. That killed Fairy Tail for me, for example. They create villains that are impossible to defeat just to proceed in making lazy excuses on how the hero draws power from the love he/she has for his/her friends. It's boring. Meh, just not my style I guess.
I like Hellsing and Deathnote too.I was so happy when L die.The main character of Deathnote is like a villian.
I think the anime is really profound. It was the theme of long discussions with my friends about justice and morals haha.
