I just bought Detroit become human today! Thoughts on the game? I love story based/choice driven games, it seems great so far!
I became so in love with that game. I remember watching all possible outcomes on YouTube, always finding something new. I remember browsing Insta and finding lots of fan art for the game. One had all three characters posed next to one another with their intentions labeled above them. Markus had "justice," Kara had, "freedom," and Connor had, "identity." That's why I like him so much. I was in the middle of finding myself when I watched the gameplay and finding that art made me like him even more. I even dressed as him for halloween (my costume was pretty great). I like watching a few of the dramatic scenes (and some of the sad ones), like the chase scene, the Kara, Alice, and Luther in boat scenes (all outcomes), and some others near the end. Let me tell you, I've watched them all. Don't search any of the things I said up! You won't want spoilers (please, don't)!
Oh man I'm even more excited to play it now! I definitely don't want to spoil it, I'll probably replay it until I try all the storylines Haha. What other games do you like?
I like The Beginner's Guide (interesting story), the Portal games (especially the lore behind it), and Life Is Strange. Those are some story games I like, what about you?
Ohh I loveeeee that game Finished it, but did not feel like an instant replay though. Will do hopefully another time
That game turned out to be an unexpectedly positive discovery for me. I watched Pewdiepies first video and decided I had to play it for myself. I really enjoyed it, took my mind off a tricky week for me, and I really liked the whole construct. There’s a great positive fandom as well.
This was the picture I had found, I forgot to update on it. I agree, it was a positive and very interesting time for me when I was watching through this. I am an Xbox player, so I never got the chance to play it for myself, but I might one day!
Oh I love that picture!!! I finished my first playthrough and honestly I cried at the end. I haven't been that emotionally invested in a game in quite a while!
The game is like a cinematic experience. My gf has a degree in film and doesn't particularly love video games but she loves watching me play this specific game.
Almost finished all parts on 100% =D The names of 2 of the main character are very fitting; Conner=Dog or Cobar and Kara=beloved. But sometimes i do wish you could play as 1 character until the end and without jumping between the other 2. You might enjoy the "zero escape" game trilogy, if you can stomach mature rated games. 1 part: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors. 2 part: Virtue´s Last Reward. 3 part: Zero Time Dilemma.
Yes! My roommate bought this game a couple months ago and after I watched her play about half, I was hooked. I played the whole thing last weekend and then this weekend I started it all over again. I love them all so much it hurts, especially Connor. It's available on PC now, if that's better!
