When I started this thread I was thinking common fears but some of these are scary. I’m terrified my mother will die. She has a couple of brain aneurysms. I’m scared my family will abandon me when my parents die. I’m scared I’ll end up unable to move or eat and drink without choking but that’s my future so not really a fear. I’m scared I’ll never know love. I’m kind of scared of men in general. I’m not sure if it’s fear or dislike.

Not being able to do what I want. A example would be having a stroke and ending up being forced into a care home, would much rather die. Losing control of my life basically.

I am the same way when it comes to conversations, I am told I’m socially awkward because I get anxiety thinking about having to initiate a conversation and then to try and keep the conversation going is a whole nother story. That being said I have a minimal amount of friends like 2 lol and don’t typically go out to meet new people so a big fear is ending up alone.

My biggest fear is height followed closely by darkness. I used to be afraid of crowded places but I'm better at that now.

Never falling in love (I have accepted I may end up single, but definitely don't want that).
Looking back on my life with regrets.
Not ending up with the life I want (I guess that encompasses everything... having a husband, pets, a nice home, being financially secure, etc.)

    Currently
    1) I'm not as attractive as I think I am
    2) Never having my after coming out 1st date.
Neither should be an issue but they are. In the straight world I know my attractiveness scale.

Exactly. I'm not very attractive but at least with men I know the rules of the game, I know which qualities men find attractive. When it comes to women I have no idea and not much confidence lol.

Y’all I feel exactly the same, I think I’m ok looking but for the same sex eh idk. Personally I like someone with a personality, no egos.
