Wonderful post from a parent about her 12 year old son coming out

    I started reading this blog for another reason, but came across this blog entry in which this amazing woman writes about her 12 year old son (who is also the youngest cellist admitted to Juilliard, at age 11) coming out to her.

    It's a wonderful story of how children and parents can successfully navigate such a complex roadmap.

    It's always good to know that there are some people that are kind to their own family no matter what, which has been declining, which is sad. I guess.

    The bit where the girl still wanted a kiss after he came out to her.....that made me laugh....what a great mum and what a great outlook on life the young man has....

    Chip.....Thanks so much for sharing. There are times when I do need to hear stories like that. I need to know that kids today don't have to go through what I did...that they can be themselves from the beginning.
