Does anyone else here like to write poems/poetry? Huge hobby of mine since childhood, gave it up for a few years, and now I've found my love and joy for it again. It's such a stress relieving, enjoyable, relaxing hobby.
I love reading too, I never really stopped. I have binders of poems (various styles also) in storage from my youth/early adulthood. I've not really written anything great recently, but it's a work in progress picking back up. I'd forgotten how enjoyable it really is.
I like writing poetry, I use it as a creative way to get thoughts off my chest when I can't say them out loud. Speaking is not my forte, for I stutter, talk too quickly, and get tongue-tied. However, when I write, I can take more time to insure that I am articulating my thoughts properly.
