    I'm sorry for the community in Asia. There isn't a single Asian country that legalized it yet.

    It does appear that however in Taiwan, a referendum cannot overturn a supreme court decision on constitutional grounds, for the constitution wouldn't be less broken because public opinion exists, meaning it ultimately likely doesn't matter and the deadline is coming closer.

    By that I'd say there's a pretty likely chance Gay Marriage will still happen in Taiwan in the coming years.

    Makes me sad as another Asian resident here. In S Korea, gay marriage hasn't even been discussed on political grounds.
