I should be sleeping for work. I'm lying in bed, but what am I doing? Lurking on Pandora, finding songs by Andrea Bocelli that I have not yet heard and realizing just how many there are.

I'm going to hate my life tonight, but at least I'll have some new music to listen to, to make this night suck less.
Seriously, though, Bocelli is a freaking god. I could listen to his voice and his music until I go deaf.

 

I'm 4 hours delayed at the airport and it sucks

Im tired and wish life was easier. I except I'm not straight and came out but now I'm picking up all the shards of glass. I'm moving to live alone and can date whoever I want but I feel tired, sad and exhausted. What a shit year 2018 has been.

Went to visit my friend in the city over. We were bored and starting scrolling wayyy back through our conversations. Even when I'm at my worst now, its comforting that I will never be as bad as I was when we first became friends lmao. The what I talked about and even how I talk now seems like a different person. Wild that capitalism is so bad that a major comic artist is like "my girlfriend is having an asthma attack, and she doesn't have insurance, and there's no urgent care open what do we do???"

I mean like, GO to the ER so she doesn't suffocate and die, but oh I forgot, we're under capitalism.

Is the movie good? I want to see it.

 

I think it could've been even better - but it was still quite good! Definitely worth seeing at least once. Especially if you like Queen and know at least a little about them, but also don't have encyclopedic knowledge of them.

I'm a fanboy though, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt.

Sighs! Of course they are about Donald Fucking Trump... and you damn well know it's the case. Just like every headline coming out of the United States revolves around him in one way or another. It's like a blue bottle around a turd.

A Republic dominated congress enables Trump and Trump enables them, it's really that simple. So, it's absolutely about Trump and whether or not Americans choose to break the toxic cycle that his presidency has become.

 

^ Man, you know the US political situation is tense when even people across the pond are becoming fatigued by it.

I want the best outcome for the Democrats, of course - but at the same time I will be immensely glad to no longer see a political ad every 2 minutes once the elections are over, regardless of who "wins" overall.

 

I'm in western New York state, and I agree, it is all about Trump. If we have a republican-ish president, and a republican controlled Supreme Court because of Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, and a republican controlled congress, the checks and balances that keep our country in a stable democracy and not an autocracy go down the tubes, because no senate or house republican has enough of a spine to do anything contradictory to the president (especially with John McCain gone, RIP) and the Supreme Court will push through almost anything that Trump needs them to.

This is obvious to most Americans, as well as most of the world. I have never been more embarrassed to be an American, but you know damn well I'll be at the fire hall first thing tomorrow morning, voting blue across the whole ballot, and anxiously awaiting our national fate, as well as whether Chris Collins stays in his seat in my district despite being indicted on insider trading back in August. It really sucks to live in the reddest district of one of the bluest states.

@Browncoat the political ads here are especially idiotic and toxic. I'll be glad when they're gone.

 

I have to wonder what kind of hobby I could take up that involves talking with others, yet doesn't lead to me feeling completely exhausted and irritable at the end of it...

 

Think I might go see the queen movie today.
