I've recently started taking pictures with a good level camera and I'm not so great but I'm okay at it but I do need to edit something and that is a subject I am completely ignorant about.
So... Does any know any good photo editing software or apps.

Adobe Photoshop's the first one that comes to mind, though I assume you'd prefer not to buy a subscription since you say you're new to photography. You can use a simple free editor paint.net, it's pretty versatile, and you can do a bunch of stuff with it, though not as much stuff that Photoshop lets you do. I've also heard of people saying they use Gimp, however I've never tried it.

I use a program called Rawtherapee. You can find the download online, it's completely free and legitimate. People say that it is comparable to Photoshop. It has a lot of capability, but I found it difficult to use at first. Definitely go watch tutorial videos on YouTube if you decide to try it out.

I personally use GIMP as it's quite possibly one of the best free photo/picture editing software although it can be a bit confusing to use at first

I use photoshop express and Snapseed they were both free. They are apps on my iPad and as soon as I figure out how to get my cameras photos on to it I’d be a lot happier.

I have a photography BTEC and the software that we used as standard practice was Photoshop and Lightroom. Personally, I actually prefer Lightroom over Photoshop - most profs appear to use photoshop - I prefer the way it operates and it just personally suits my work style, plus I can import easily into photoshop if need be.

It may cost a little bit but it’s the cheaper of the two and it’s really decent software. Pretty clear and straight forward to learn. Worth the investment.
