I wanted to put this with my other post but the editing time limit expired while I was working, so what gender do you folks identify as? I listed as many as I could, but if you identify as something different, please let me know more below.

    voted binary male for myself.

Was a few weeks ago i post on this topic regarding a youtube video. Not going to lie i am not even sure what some of these options are :s
Without sounding dumb or ignorant Greenrun, from your profile you identify as genderqueer, but pronoun as she. What is genderqueer exactly? I feel i should know more about this than I do......

I also voted binary male, although maybe transmasculine would fit better. But never mind.

No problem with asking questions, it doesn't mean you're dumb, just curious! Thanks for asking politely, though, as I know some people can get kinda nasty discussing nonbinary gender identities. I'll answer, but this is just how I feel, I can't speak for everyone who uses the term.

I'm still confused about gender, but I don't feel like I'm cis (feeling like the gender you're assigned at birth) so I put genderqueer, as in my gender is queer (not cis), but I don't really know what it is. I do still use she/her pronouns because they/them doesn't feel quite right for me right now, and I'm also not out at all about my gender.

If you're also wondering why I put lesbian, it's just so for right now people can guess that I'm on the female end of the spectrum attracted to other female people. I don't feel like I'm all the way to the end of the spectrum, but versus the male end, I am somewhere in that side.

I also feel like my gender varies from agender (feeling genderless) to somewhere close to female but not totally, and some gender other than male or female entirely. that would more put me in the category of genderfluid, as my gender can fluidly change.

I know this isn't a great description, but it is really difficult for me to understand, let alone describe in words to someone else.

If you're curious about different gender identities, I highly recommend Ash Hardell's ABC's of LGBT series on youtube. There are some great videos on gender there.

I put demigender because technically my gender is demiflux (which is under the demigender umbrella) although my gender is primarily agender.

Gender that we are, not that we identify as. Nonbinary woman is mine.

You're correct, my apologies. Sometimes I still slip with my language.

I put 'something else entirely' but when asked I "identify" as binary male. Make of that what you will.

Binary female = the binary gender of female/woman
Binary male = the binary gender of male/man
Nonbinary = existing anywhere outside of the above two categories
Genderqueer = similar to nonbinary, encompasses any gender that is not exactly a binary gender
Genderfluid = having a gender that changes
Androgyne = an androgynous gender (andro meaning male/man and gyne meaning female/woman)
Agender = genderless (a meaning without)
Bigender = having two genders, either at the same time or alternately
Demigender = somewhat aligning with one gender, but not enough to belong to a binary gender
Something else entirely = a gender identification term that I have not listed above

Note: Some people's definitions of these terms may vary from mine, these are just my current understandings of these terms.

So one third of respondents is non-binary so far. Wow!

It's important to note that gender identity is not referring at all to sexual preference OR biology. They are 3 separate parts to one entanglement.

I voted nonbinary. I tend to have masculine presentation of my gender but more feminine mannerisms and expressions. I don't feel fully male or female, but I feel more male then female. So this is why I am transitioning from female to male. It may not be the perfect option for me, but I can live a lot more comfortably as male than I could as female.

Please help me decide...lol I'm a guy who's into guys and I'm quite masculine. Very happy being male. My ex wife asked if I was bi a couple times so I must present some feminine traits but they aren't obvious to me unless I'm still tuning in. They could be true as I'm only just accepted my sexuality.
