I wanna trim my pubic hair. I haven't done it ever before and I have no idea about how should I do it. I have a trimmer which I use to trim my beard. Can I use it to trim hair down there? Also, can I use it to trim the hair on the balls too or should I use a pair of scissors or what? I don't wanna shave because a shaver would be of no use to me after that job and I don't wanna spend a lot of money. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
Yes you can use the same thing you use on your beard. A tip for trimming/shaving down there is pull the skin tight. Be gentle and take your time. I was recently surprised by how easy shaving down there is and how much I enjoy not having all that hair.
I use scissors on my pubes to trim them short. Then a razor to shave. I use a beard trimmer on my balls
You can use a conventional trimmer, but be very careful. There is some evidence that close trimming and shaving of pubic hair can cause cuts and skin tears which become entry points for infections, including STI's. If you decide to trim or shave it might be a good idea to refrain from sex for a few days afterwards, just to err on the side of caution.
I trim mine with the clippers I use for my facial hair. Just want to take your time and have good lighting.
For areas around the genitals (but not on the penis or balls themselves) I like to use either small scissors or the sideburn trimmer on my electric razor. On the genitals themselves, I use either small scissors (carefully) or the main part of the electric razor. I sometimes will trim my pubic hair just for fun.
