Where is the line between admiration and attraction?

    Admiration is wanting to be more like someone and taking their traits into your own personality, while attraction is wanting to be with someone because of their traits without necessarily wanting to be that way yourself. That’s how I think of it at least.

    If you admire someone, you see them as a role-model who you want to take after with your career goals and achievements, or as an icon who's work you want to follow. It doesn't have to be a person you are sexually attracted to. Of course, it is possible to feel both attraction and admiration towards the same person if they also happen to be very good looking.
