    Hi Everybody,

I'm here for my 12 year old daughter who came out as lesbian over a year ago. Kids and teachers at school are giving her a hard time.

Hi and welcome. Sorry that she's not being accepted. Have you talked to her teachers? I think its important that whether they accept her or not they have an obligation to prevent any bullying at school.

    Hi Biguyjosh,

She says some of her teachers are making negative comments but not all of them. She got some extra credit for drawing a portrait of one of her teachers. They have an anti-bullying campaign at the school but I think its more low level negative comments. She says she has reported the students but nothing has happened. Probably time to have a chat with principal.

I assume you mean Georgia (US), and not Georgia (Caucasus).

Anyway, I hope your daughter feels better and she never has to go through that terrible experience again.

Loads of love for you and your daughter.
