Hi! I need some LGBT stories with a happy ending because, frankly speaking, I'm a bit sad right now, and I feel like I'll never be able to meet someone and love and be loved... And re-watching Call Me By Your Name wasn't the wisest of choices.
I'm totally into fanfiction too, btw

    Movies:
    -Love, Simon

    Books:
-Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda
    -The Upside of Unrequited

I'm sure I know of more but at nearly 1 AM, Becky Albertalli comes to mind first. If I think of more, I'll add some more!

Carol, Disobedience(the ending is certainly not perfect but hopeful I would say), The Way He Looks(it's a Brazilian movie, I watched it with English subtitles and it has a good ending), that cheesy British one, Imagine Me & You. If you like sort of campy low budget supernatural series, Wynonna Earp has a super cute f/f couple that is likely endgame.

'Imagine Me and You' is super-cheesy but a definite feel-good happy ending

I can't think Straight is a funny and happy ending movie.

But I'm a Cheerleader ends very happily. It's very campy though.

I loved I'm a cheerleader. There's a movie where the two female leads from that movie play another lesbian couple. It was on Netflix but I can't remember the name.

No. I found the movie, it's called Intervention. It's definitely Clea Duvall and Natasha Lyonne. It's not a lesbian movie, they just play a lesbian couple in it.

Have you seen the movie? If so, how different is it from the book?

There are some differences. The book is one of my all time favorites so with that I went in critical but optimistic.

Let me put it this way. The movie is fantastic. But there are enough differences that we won’t be getting an adaptation of Leah on the Offbeat. It’s fantastic though, I loved it.
