Hi there! I'm sorry if this should be incredibly obvious, but I can't figure out how to send or respond to messages on here. I've spent a while trying- is it something that can't be done until you're a Full Member? This is probably the wrong subforum to post this in- I apologise for that, as well. :-/

Only full members can send private messages. But, you can post on people's walls while you're a regular member. But, keep in mind that posts on a person's wall is public. Unfortunately, there isn't really an option for private things for regular members. But, that's just for security reasons.

In the future, you can post any questions in the "Empty Closets Help and Feedback" forum. But, it's no big deal.

Thank you for being so helpful!

    ...

How would I navigate to a person's wall?

You can do that by going onto a person’s profile page by clicking on their name. Then, on their profile, it’ll give you the option to post to them.

Sorry for being such a bother. I don't seem to have that option? For example, if I click onto your profile (hope you don't mind me using this as an example), I see this:

    upload_2018-9-17_21-7-26.png
And no option to leave a message. All profiles look the same- I can see posts other people have made on profiles, and information on a profile etc, but nowhere I can actually write.

Hey, Cognition! It's worth noting that to post on a person's wall, you'd need to have already done ten posts throughout the forums (not including Fun and Games). In your case, you have conveniently accomplished that by inquiring about it, so the option to message someone on a public wall should be available to you shortly. I would not know exactly how long it takes for the system to register that; from my experience it should not take more than a day. I was able to use that feature the morning after I made my tenth post (which was done late the previous night). Hope it works out for you and that you have a nice day! ( :

After you've posted ten posts to become a regular member, you will be offered an online form that you have the option of filling out to become a full member.

Have 50 posts over at least 2 weeks of time and send in the application. It takes about a month to get approved currently.

Yup, Destin is right. We aim to get through them in less than a month but we’re all volunteers and sometimes there’s a lot to do here!

In the meantime you’ll be able to have conversations on people’s walls after you’ve made a few posts.
