Out of these choices, I would say rock + techno/electronic.. Also metal music is high on my list.. I prefer music that's fast and not too melancholic.. But I listen to many genres, recently for example I started listening to psytrance, Infected Mushroom to be precise.. that's something I would have never guessed I would like it, but there's something about their work that is really pleasing for my ears
I put "Rock" and "Instrumental/Classical" as my two votes, mainly because I listen to those and just about everything in between. I think it's best summed up by the fact that I can shuffle my playlist, get one song by Avenged Sevenfold, followed up by one by Andrea Bocelli (had that happen not once but twice on Friday, and yes, I have quite a lot of music by both). About the only thing I don't listen to is country and almost anything that sounds like it belongs on a Top 40 radio station.
I checked "electronic/techno" and "experimental" since my favourite genre is not even listed here, and these are the closest. my favourite is industrial and everything that comes from it. particularly aggrotech and powernoise.
There are two types of music: good music and bad music. (M. Revel) I listen to all kinds of music, classical pop rock trad world music. There is nothing better than an evening spent listening to music
I would say Pop and Electronic/Techno. Most of the music I listen to is Eurobeat, Italo-disco, Trance, and Pop from the 80s-2010s. Of course, there are some niche genres such as Vaporwave that I enjoy, too. My favorite band would have to be Yazoo. They made many types of tracks, from dance, to... soul I would call it? 1982, baby!
Definitely a rock guy, but listen to just about anything and everything in between! A typical playlist for me ranges from Rammstein, Van Halen,, Eazy-E, to Diana Krall, Enya, etc..more of an 80's and 90's fan
Yeah, I love enya's music.. especially when I'm stressed. I turn all the lights down low, set the central ac on super chill and just listen to her music/watch her vids
I mostly listen to rap/hip hop or rock music, but sometimes listen to screamo, alternative or techno music.
Mostly rock/alternative rock but as I grow older I have a bigger appreciation for old school jazz as well as classical
I voted for pop and instrumental classical. I'm really a fan of soft rock though as well (as opposed to regular rock), and for instrumental I like folk/alternative, new age, and classical crossover best. Some of these specific choices were unavailable though so it was hard to include those even though those are my favorite genres. I like pop music though. I love to jam to some fun radio hits driving along. I like the upbeat fun that can be had with pop music. It's fun to dance to.
Rock and alternative. I like lyrics, and I prefer to listen to solo artists. There are plenty of bands I like, but I don't follow them as closely as the solo artists. there's just something really intimate about listening to an individual artist who is playing his or her own instrument while singing lyrics he or she has written based on personal experiences. I love an acoustic set. And I do like classical especially when its mixed with rock.
I checked rock and experimental, but I listen to pretty much everything on that list other than screamo. My favorite genre though would probably be Symphonic Metal
My favs would be folk/americana/bluegrass. Out of the genres above i would choose rock and classical. There are so many genres within genres it's a bit mental.
