What computer do you have?

I built my PC myself, it has a Ryzen 3 1200 [email protected] ghz, Nvidia GTX 1050ti, 8gb ram (planning on upgrading to 16gb), and a 1tb HDD.

 

I recently got a Lenovo Ideapad 720s. I got a pretty good deal on it, and I needed a computer for school that would be powerful and portable.

 

I have two computers. Excuse me while I nerd out about the first one.

One is a HP desktop (my main setup):

Intel Core i3-7100 CPU @ 3.90GHz
8 GB RAM
1 TB HDD + 2 TB external hard drive
Two 1080p monitors (set to 1280x1020)
Razer speakers and gaming keyboard

The other is a HP laptop:

Intel Pentium N3540 @ 2.16 GHz
4 GB RAM
500 GB HDD
1080p display (set to 1366x768)

I call them Ferrari and Lamborghini, respectively. I'd post a picture (just because my desktop setup is, in my opinion, cool as fuck), but at the present time, my desk looks like a tornado hit it.

 

Thanks. Yeah, it took a lot of time (not to mention money) to get this setup and everything that went into it. I had to save up for most of it, but I spend most of my life on a computer, so it was worth it.

My desktop is pretty much a hybrid of whatever I can stuff in it when I have extra money to spend.

Current specs are 4-core Intel i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30 GHz, 8 Gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti, and 5 TB spread over 3 hard drives.
I've just ordered a Seasonic Focus Plus 550W 80 Plus Platinum Modular power supply, to replace my old one which is... acting up, to say mildly.
Next upgrade is probably some more RAM.
And then I'll go through the whole cycle of upgrading motherboard & CPU again, haha.

I've come along way from my first computer.. the food ol Commodore 64 - which I still have and it works perfectly!

860watt Corsair PS
2 512k SSDs and a 4 terabyte HD that I pulled from my last PC as i have tons of movies and songs on it that i like to stream around the house

I anticipate finishing it up this weekend!

 

You've still got a Commodore 64? Nice. I've never even seen one in real life.

Also, that setup sounds badass. I'm happy with mine but I wouldn't mind having that one, too.

 

Yeah.. cant believe a machine built in 1987 works as great as this one still does! There are some games for it that were either never remade or the remake sucked...so I can only play them on it.. although I am building a raspberry pi with retropie and various roms installed.

I originally had the Commodore 64 but the power supply brick was horrible! It would overheat and sweat..burned rhat machine out. So, my parents bought me the 64c. Ill fire it up and post pics on here of it in action.

Yeah, I'm stoked to get my new rig running..play a lot of flight sim on it and want a totally smooth framerates experience

I'm a huge tech guy and a collector, so I have way too many computers.
